The symposium will feature a keynote fireside chat, Leading Through Change: Learning for a Lifetime in the Age of AI, between Georgia Tech Provost Raheem Beyah and College of Lifetime Learning Dean Bill Gaudell.
AI is accelerating the pace of change, challenging long-held assumptions, and redefining the knowledge and skills needed to succeed and to lead in the workforce and beyond.
In a world where skills can quickly become obsolete and careers are increasingly nonlinear, learning can no longer be a one-time experience. The future belongs to those who can continuously adapt, but is higher education prepared to support learning that lasts a lifetime?
This forward-looking conversation will focus on how universities must evolve to meet this moment. From reimagining access and credentials to preparing leaders who can responsibly navigate emerging technologies, they will discuss how higher education can move beyond knowledge delivery to become a lifelong partner in human development, workforce resilience, and societal progress.

Symposium Location
The symposium will be held at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Midtown Atlanta in the heart of Tech Square — Atlanta's thriving innovation community, which is easily accessible from Interstates 75/85 and just 15 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Attached to the Center is The Tech Square parking deck that offers convenient hourly and daily rates.
Room Reservations
You can also book your reservations at the Georgia Tech Hotel, located at the Global Learning Center, for the Lifetime Learning Symposium room block. Non-smoking King bedding accommodations have been blocked for this group. Please note that all guestrooms are non-smoking.
For any other requests or inquiries, please enter this information within the appropriate request boxes during the reservations process or call the hotel directly by calling (800) 706-2899 or (404) 838-2100.
All reservations must be accompanied by a valid credit card, as the first night’s stay to include legally imposed taxes (currently 16.9%) and applicable fees ($5 daily Georgia lodging fee) will be charged at or shortly after the time the reservation is made. This charge will be refundable until 7 days before the check-in date if written cancellation notification is received by the hotel.
You must make your room reservation by Sept. 25, 2026 to take advantage of the block.
